8 X 30 Project Day 62- Gratitude

Today I am starting the 365 Days of Gratitude. I was asked by another good friend of mine to join her in her journey to do this. I am happy that several other women decided to join us too! I am trying to figure out how to incorporate it into my daily blog without doing a million blogs a day, so I think I will just add it on to the bottom of this blog.

If you would like to join us girls on our journey of the 365 days of Gratitude you can check out more info at The Year of Gratitude.

Today was so super busy. I actually didn’t get the camera out today, well I did but it was at 12:15am! My schedule these days is just crazy and completely out of control. I am use to running around but this is almost crazy. Who am I kidding it is crazy. Here is a look at my schedule and this doesn’t include any Dr.s appt, errands or things that come up.

Are you tired? I am…I guess the good part is time will go quickly.

Funny thing today:

At the dinner table Hunter was talking about how she doesn’t like her name. I asked her what she wanted it to be and she told me Catherine. I then asked her why she didn’t like her name and she said, “BECAUSE MOM I DON’T CARRY A GUN!” LOL This kid cracks me up.

365- Gratitude Day 1

Today I am grateful for so many things. I was going to write about JuJu and how I am so thankful for her smiles and hugs that she gives me everyday. It really just warms and melts my heart. But today I got better news that am I still praising god and grateful for. My friend who is winning her fight again breast cancer got her pathology report today and it came back with clean margins. This is the best news I have heard all year! I am grateful that my friend is kicking cancers ASS, that she has the support of a wondeful medical team, and most of all a terrific husband and family to take care of her. Way to say FU girlie. 🙂

Great blog, as usual. You never fail to amaze me with your talent behind the camera and the keyboard. Juju looks beautiful. Thanks for keeping it together there at home. I love you.

I cannot tell you what it means to me that you choose my little success as your gratitude for day one. I’m sitting here crying as I write this. You tickle me to no end. I love you to pieces.

Gill I love you too. 🙂 I think about our late night conversations that we use to have after our Ombudsman meetings. I think about how I miss them terribly. Just because I am not there anymore, doesn’t mean I don’t think about you!!! I do everyday. I am so proud of you Gill and how you have been through all of this. You are an amazing person, I knew this before, and the strongest person I know. You need to believe this because it is true. Travis and I love you and your family very much!
