8 X 30 Project Day 223

Feeling much better today, still sick, but willing my way better since have two newborn sessions to do! I am super excited and all ready. I even found the Martha Stewart blankets I have been looking for.

I received to very interesting pictures from Travis today. He is officially a Shellback now. This is a Navy (fraternity) ceremony that happens when you cross the equator. They put everyone, even the CO, that hasn’t been across the equator before through this sort of hell day. Sounds like fun right…I guess if you have been on a boat for about 7 months. 🙂

Here is a link to describe a little bit about the tradition HERE

Travis climbing out of the “slime cleansing tank” with a potato in his mouth. He said that he almost didn’t get the potato because his head was to big to get into the bucket.

The Shooters entertaining King Neptune’s Court with their rousing rendition of the “Mama Gooney Bird” song.

Wow that almost look like to much fun. LOL

Well it snowed here, like all day. I was super surprised since the weather said it wasn’t going to snow at all!!! Now it looks like it will snow tomorrow and Monday too. This is fine with me, but just a surprise. I am so proud of myself to for driving in the snow this week. I never have done it and now three days in a row I have done it! I was a little afraid tonight when I couldn’t see the road and it was very slick. So we are home for now.

I only have to make it through three more weekends!
