8 X 30 Project Day 220

Today was a snow day in Snohomish County. I think it should have been a late start but I wanted the kids to go to school too. There was quite a bit of snow when we woke up though. Great thing…the roads were clear…Bad thing is I have horrible cold.

Yesterday we all woke up sick. Hunter and JuJu have been sick with a cold for a few days, but Gracie, Molly and I woke up yesterday with a sore throat and cough. Luckily our strep test came back neg, we are still waiting for the culture to grow, but I am pretty certain that we just have a cold. But I feel like poop!!! This morning I was suppose to have a newborn session and I had to cancel it. I felt so bad, but didn’t want to make anyone else sick too.

I did make it out for an eye appointment today for Gracie and some snow food stock ups. It is always important to have enough ice cream and cookies available just incase. It also turns out that Gracie’s eye are getting worse. So we have a new prescription for her. She will need to wear her glasses all the time now. My genes are passing on. 🙂

We also got a new hat today. Yes… I am fully aware of my problem. Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am a hataholic. Of course this meant picture time too.

Oh and before I forget I was featured on Clickinmoms Blog Macrolicious Monday. Check it out here.

Now onto some pics.

Hunter is super thrilled about this.

Gracie is a little more willing.

We are down to about 4 weeks now!!! Can you believe it, less than a month till Travis comes home!!!!

Probably the same cold I brought home for me. It is hard to kick. I’m still waking coughing at night, so bought some of that DM stuff with the little guys that zap the mucus! Good part is the sore throat goes away after a few days. Glad Gracie is getting her glasses. Tell her to hang in there a few more years, then it will be time for contacts. Miss you all.
